SSI Advanced AdventurerAdvance your diving with the SSI Advanced Adventurer Course Exploration, excitement, experiences Who should take this course? The SSI Advanced Adventurer Course allows you to experience five different open water dives from five SSI Specialty programs without needing to complete the entire Specialty course. This is the perfect way to shape the direction of your future diving education as you can identify which Dive Specialties interest you the most. As you participate in the five supervised dives you will advance your dive skills and experience. Along the way you will gain the confidence and skills needed to take your diving exploration to a whole new level. But don’t worry because you don’t have to be “advanced” to take this course, it’s designed to advance your diving, and so you can start right after earning your Open Water Diver certification. You will earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification. You must be medically fit to dive, have Open Water Certification and be 15 years or older.
What will you learn? This course gives you a variety of unique diving experiences that will help build confidence and expand your scuba skills through five different Adventure Dives. You try out different speciality dives while gaining experience under the supervision of your Oceans Alive Dive Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving. The SSI Advanced Adventurer program consists of two main components:

What scuba gear will you use? You will need your own basic scuba equipment plus you’ll need a compass and dive knife or dive tool. Some Adventure Dives require you to use specialized dive gear. Your Instructor will explain the extra hire cost or purchases that may be required for your selected Adventure Dives. What are the course costs?
How can you start learning now? The SSI Digital Training System sets the standard in diver education, with comprehensive, first-rate videos, illustrations, and photos that connect your training to real-world dive experiences. They make learning engaging, interactive, and fun.
