This course will teach you the fundamentals of spearfishing and how to increase your breathhold.  There will be a classroom presentation that complements the student workbook along with the notes and discussion from your instructor.

​This knowledge is then put into practice in the pool session with practical exercises and rescue scenarios.

​The course is broken into three sections;

•  Equipment
•  Fish ID and hunting techniques
•  The breath hold.

You will need a mask and snorkel plus your free diving fins and socks.  Environmental protection by way of a wetsuit is optional but recommended as well as a weight belt and weights.
