As a PADI Dive Centre we support Project AWARE (Aquatic World Awareness, Responsibility and Education) Foundation and its attempts to unify the voice of the dive community in preserving our aquatic environment.  Our PADI Diver Training Programmes include the teaching of environmentally sound diving practices, operations and skills.  Worldwide Project Aware funded and/or sponsored programmes have included shark conservation efforts, sea turtle protection, beach clean ups, educational videos and more.

​We are very lucky in New Zealand to have many marine reserves which provide safe places for sea creatures to breed and swim without fear of human interference.  As a SCUBA or FREEDIVER you can move amongst the many unique and inquisitive characters that inhabit our pristine coastlines.  Many fish and animals in our reserves are very friendly and are keen to check out visitors once they know that they will not be harmed.
