The Gravity Weight Pockets have very large buckles making them easy to drop an emergency, even whilst wearing gloves,  The accidental loss of a weight pocket during a dive can be very dangerous.   Strong robust buckles helps ensure these pockets will not accidentally open whilst diving . 

Mount the Gravity Weight Pockets on the waist strap of the harness or screw  them directly onto a stainless steel backplate. This ensures no side to side movement so the weight remains in its place all dive long, even when you roll to the side or stay upside down.
